Scope

Introduction to the basic concepts of modern freight transport chains, management at the strategic and operational level, and new trends, including green transportation.

Contents
  • Long-distance freight transportion (Fleet composition, Transportation assignment, Cargo flows).
  • Network design for services and terminals.
  • Short-distance freight transportation (VRP – Vehicle Routing Problem, TSP – Traveling Salesman Problem, CPP – Chinese Postman Problem) and heuristic algorithms for solution.
  • Multimodal and Green freight transportation.
