Mr. Daniel Vasilikis was awarded a PhD degree by the Department. Daniel holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from our Department in 2006 and an MSc from the same Department in 2008. He has worked on his PhD dissertation, entitled “STRUCTURAL BEHAVIOR AND STABILITY OF STEEL CYLINDRICAL SHELLS WITH LATERAL CONFINEMENT”, under the supervision of Associate Professor Spyros A. Karamanos. Significant part of his research has been sponsored by research programs of the European Commission.
