The aim of the course is to understand the basic principles of the mechanics of undeformed solids. The course focuses on understanding the concept of static equilibrium of forces and moments in the plane and in space, and basic structures (trusses, beams, simple frames and complex structures) are examined.<\/p>

This course provides the basic knowledge for attending more advanced engineering courses such as Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Fluid Mechanics.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>
